Jaguar I-PACE

Jaguar i-PACE

Range: Up to 292 miles

The Jaguar i-PACE was the first fully electric car from Jaguar as well as the first electric car available to buy from us here at Harwoods. The i-PACE has won 62 car industry awards including European Car Of The Year in 2019. The i-PACE offers the dynamic driving experience you would expect from Jaguar, including a swift 0-60mph time of just 4.5 seconds. This is combined with a luxury interior with all the driving comforts available such as heated and cooled seats with electronic seat positioning and memory, panoramic sunroof, split zone climate control and Jaguar’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system. Technically it is an electric SUV but its exterior design is low and angular which offers a more sporting dynamic to its look.

Audi Q8 e-tron

Audi Q8 e-tron

Range: Up to 330 miles

The Audi Q8 e-tron replaces the original e-tron which was the first fully electric car available from Audi. The e-tron concept has developed into a range of cars now and this large electric SUV brings a lot to the table including a futuristic cabin, all the mod cons of driving comfort and plenty of passenger leg room and boot space. Variants of the Q8 e-tron include the Sportback which has a more coupe style body shape, and the SQ8 e-tron which offers increased performance, including a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds, at the sacrifice of some of its range.

Audi Q4 e-tron

Range: Up to 314 miles

One of Audi’s more recent editions to its e-tron range of electric cars, the Q4 e-tron, offers a more compact electric SUV than the original e-tron but without sacrificing range. With an impressive distance per charge of up to 314 miles, you can drive from central London to Land’s End on a single charge. There is plenty of space inside and as it's Audi’s most affordable electric car yet, the Q4 is the ideal electric family car. Its cabin is clean and minimalistic and can provide up to 520 litres of luggage space. The following is included as standard on the Q4; Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation Plus with 11.6” Touch screen and a double spoke design steering wheel with touch sensitive controls.

Volvo XC40 Recharge

Volvo XC40 Recharge

Range: Up to 258 miles

The XC40 Recharge is Volvo’s fully electric version of the very popular XC40. It is a practical mid-sized electric SUV with a good maximum range and Volvo’s modern, Scandi style design. The interior features sustainably sourced materials and Volvo’s quirky portrait orientated infotainment system which is now fully integrated with Google for apps and voice control. The driving performance of the XC40 recharge is more modest than some of our other options but it still does 0-60mph in a fairly swift 7.4 seconds. The XC40 has previously won WhatCar Car of the Year and has won WhatCar Best Family SUV in 2022 so the Recharge fully electric version is based on a solid car with lot’s to like.

Volvo C40

Volvo C40

Range: Up to 274 miles

Described by Volvo as a crossover, the C40 Recharge has a similar aesthetic to the XC40 with a more coupe style roof line. It’s a little more compact than the XC40 but it makes up for this with nearly 20 miles more range over it’s bigger sibling. Similarly to the XC40 you get Google assistant built in and a choice of sustainably sourced interior materials. With the C40 being slightly smaller and affordable it’s a good alternative to the XC40 if you don’t need the larger boot capacity.

Audi e-tron GT

Audi e-tron GT

Range: Up to 283 miles

The Audi e-tron GT deserves special mention, if performance is what you are interested in it is hard to beat. Designed in a classic, 5 door coupe style, the GT is not entirely impractical but if you are interested in buying one it is more likely for the driving experience. The Quattro version can do 0-62mph in an impressive 4.1 seconds, opt for the RS version and it’s even quicker off the mark at 3.3 seconds, faster even than an Aston Martin Vantage! The interior follows the driving focused theme with sports seat to support you when cornering at speed and sport trims with contrast stitching and all the tech you could want.
