Audi is sharpening its edge in the electric SUV market. The refreshed Q4 e-tron is more versatile than ever, featuring a tech-forward interior, increased range, and a pioneering approach to energy management. UK orders are set to open in June 2026, with prices starting from £46,260 (OTR) and deliveries expected by the summer.
Pioneering Bidirectional Charging
In a first for Audi, the Q4 e-tron now supports bidirectional charging. Using Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, the car can power external devices like e-bikes via a socket in the boot or an adapter on the charging port. In select regions, it even offers Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capabilities, allowing the car’s battery to act as a storage solution for domestic solar power. This helps homeowners optimise their self-consumption by feeding stored energy back into the household during peak times.
Enhanced Performance and Range
Efficiency is at the heart of this update. Thanks to the new "APP350" electric motor and improved power electronics, the Q4 Sportback e-tron now achieves a range of up to 367 miles. Charging is also faster and smarter, with the maximum DC charging capacity rising to 185 kW for quattro models. This allows drivers to add 115 miles of range in just 10 minutes, while battery preconditioning and "Plug & Charge" automatic authentication now come as standard to keep stops brief and seamless.
