Start using Audi Connect infotainment
Follow the steps below to set up Audi Connect infotainment, alternatively visit your local Harwoods Audi dealership and they can assist you further.
1. Technical requirements
To get set up you will need the following:
- Audi Connect in your vehicle
- MMI Navigation plus
- Bluetooth compatible smartphone with remote SIM Access Profile or a SIM card with telephone and data option.
2. Consider your phone contract
When choosing your phone contract you should start considering the data you use, as you may incur extra costs, especially if you drive abroad. We recommend contracts with a flat rate are used with Audi Connect, or consider a data only tariff.
3. Get Connected
Insert your compatible SIM card into the corresponding slot in the MMI navigation plus interface. Two aerials on your Audi will ensure you get excellent reception to keep you connected whilst you're on the move. Plus, your passengers can then access the LTE technology by connecting their mobile devices to the integrated Wi-Fi hotspot within your Audi.
4. Register with Audi Connect infotainment
To set up Audi Connect infotainment you will need to register an account with my.audi.com, an online service that allows your to start using Audi Connect. Once your account has been set up you can then link it to your car start using Audi Connect.
