Portsmouth Audi proud to achieve GoTOZero Bronze Certification 2024

GoTOZero Certified 2026

Harwoods Audi has fully integrated sustainability into its business strategy, achieving major milestones such as a transition to 100% renewable electricity and a zero-waste-to-landfill policy as of 2026. By investing in solar energy, LED lighting upgrades, and expanding our EV charging infrastructure, we have significantly reduced our carbon footprint while promoting a circular economy through the 100% recycling of IT hardware and engine oil.

These environmental efforts have earned formal recognition, and we’re delighted that Southampton Audi has achieved a Silver status in the Volkswagen Group's "Go to Zero" sustainability audit, while Portsmouth Audi and Crawley Audi have each achieved Bronze status, which highlights continued progress in carbon reduction and environmental performance.

GoTOZero Certification

As part of the certification process we are audited on the following:

  • Environmental Management:

Implementation of a structured environmental policy, dedicated management systems, and ongoing employee training. Setting clear goals to minimise resource consumption and emissions, developing action plans to shrink the ecological footprint, and prioritising the use or generation of renewable energy sources.

  • Infrastructure and Operations:

Ensuring buildings and equipment are optimised for energy efficiency, adopting strategies to reduce water consumption, implementing robust waste management practices, and designing dealership outdoor spaces to support biodiversity.

  • Sales and Customer Engagement:

Evaluating the average CO2 emissions of sold vehicles, actively engaging customers on environmental considerations related to available models, and promoting the dealership’s sustainability initiatives.
